Bolney Wine Estate, Sussex – Dark Harvest
A real stunner of an English red. This multi-award winner is full of red berry fruit flavours. Made from a blend of Dornfelder and Rondo grapes, it is a deep ruby red colour.
Bolney Wine Estate, Sussex – Pinot Noir
A wonderful example of a cool climate Pinot. Red cherry, bacon and hints of cedar wood give a lovely complexity on the bouquet and palate. Winner of Silver and Best in its Class IWSC 2010.
Brightwell Vineyard, Oxfordshire – Oxford Regatta
A clean, fully dry red wine. Similar in style to northern French or Italian red wines, is has a refreshing clarity and is redolent of English summer berries, with flavours of raspberries and damson. Aged in oak barrels it is a 2010 UK Wine Awards winner.
