New beers at the Bricklayer's this week are from the Isle of Purbeck Brewery in Dorset.
Purbeck Best 3.6%
Fossil Fuel 4.1%
Solar Power 4.3%
Studland Bay Wrecked 4.5%
IPA 4.8%
Harry's Harvest Pale Ale 5%
The Harry's comes strongly recommended by Pippa, the brewer's other half. She says she's a London girl through and through and doesn't normally like real ale but the Harvest Pale Ale is going down a treat. We expect all you London girls (and guys) not to let the side down!
It's a big week at the Bricklayer's as we are receiving our Greater London Regional Pub of the Year Award from CAMRA on Monday 5th October.
It's a double celebration as it's also the landlady's birthday on Monday. And it's a triple celebration because Sarah Coyde (of Duke's Head fame) is joining us as the new bar manager. She is a legend in the Putney community and we are delighted to have her on board here at the Bricklayer's.
Current bar manager Patty (the American one) is to become the new general manager.
With all that going on, and a fine selection of beer from our usual Timothy Taylor's range and our fantastic guest ales, there's even more reason to join us for drink!
